The Watergate Gallery is proud to present ““Printmaking Women”, an exhibition celebrating contemporary graphic art through the work of a select group of female artists from the Centro de Edición Gallery. This exhibition is a tribute to the technical mastery and unique vision that each of these artists brings to the world of lithography and graphics.
The Edition Center Gallery, renowned for its specialization in handcrafted graphic techniques, has for years been a pillar in the preservation and evolution of contemporary printmaking. In collaboration with Watergate Gallery, this exhibition provides a platform to explore the innovative approach of these women artists, who combine traditional artistic resources with a contemporary sensibility.
In “Printmaking Women”, each piece reveals the depth and breadth of women's graphic art, highlighting the importance of their presence in the artistic realm. The exhibition not only highlights the technical skill and ingenuity of these artists, but also underscores the crucial role of women in redefining and expanding the artistic landscape. Their participation in galleries and their contribution to printmaking not only enriches art, but also promotes greater inclusion and visibility for female voices.
Graphic art, in the hands of these talented women, becomes a powerful medium for exploring personal and universal themes, offering a rich variety of perspectives and narratives. This exhibition is an invitation to appreciate not only the technical mastery of the works on display, but also the significant influence of women in the evolution of contemporary art.
Through “Women Who Print,” we celebrate not only technique and innovation, but also the vital importance of supporting and recognizing the fundamental role of women in the art world.

We gratefully acknowledge the ongoing support of the prestigious Watergate Gallery, its director Dale Johnson and artist Alfredo Ratinoff for their understanding, support and appreciation of the project and its importance in contemporary art
